works as a consultant across sectors helping organisations and leaders to develop business plans, review and improve their leadership skills and make significant organisational changes to become more effective. He has advised senior people on governance issues, new ways of working and involving all levels of staff and setting the right stretching targets to achieve high performance results. In the public and not for profit sectors, he has worked with charities, government agencies about to be privatised as well as housing associations. He was a Board Member at Soha Housing based in Didcot. From 2005, he was Vice Chair of the shadow board of Watford Community Housing Trust when it prepared for stock transfer as a tenant-led organisation. He continued as Vice Chair until 2012.
